EUPopLink is a European research project that focuses on the study of populism and Euroscepticism in the Member States of the European Union and in candidate countries. The project aims to strengthen comparative research and connect academic knowledge with public debate and policy-making.
Within the framework of EUPopLink’s activities, a cross-national comparative public opinion survey (mass survey) will be conducted in the participating countries. The survey aims to examine attitudes, perceptions, and dynamics related to Euroscepticism and populism. Through this survey, EUPopLink will explore attitudes toward the European Union and European integration, levels of trust in national and European institutions, perceptions of democracy, representation and popular sovereignty, expressions and narratives of populism at both national and transnational levels, as well as the factors that strengthen or limit Euroscepticism and populism.
By participating in the survey, you have the opportunity to express your opinion. Since the aggregated and anonymous data will be publicly available, your views will contribute to the international research community as well as to European policy discussions.
The central coordination of the survey is carried out by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the anonymity of all participants, and the project fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
